This was a sentimental piece to me, as it was the table that our family had our Sunday dinners and many holidays. It sat for 20 years after my mother’s passing until I moved into a house with a great spot for it. I discovered a wood veneer top that was splitting, while the all the body needed was a good cleaning. I removed all the veneer which was not a fun task! I sanded and went with coco on the top and old white on the body. I chose ladder back chairs over fabric chairs to dress it down a bit.
