This casual table was in a dining room that was being transformed into a modern room. New chairs were bought but the client wanted to use her existing table, as it was the perfect size. The table had many scratches on it, so I filled and sanded anywhere that wasn’t smooth and painted in a high gloss black with no distressing. Paired with the sleek, modern chairs it looked like a different table altogether and worked well in the room.
